      I am a  Quaternary Geologist   studying pedosedimentary sequences of the Gangetic Plains and the Himalayas to know the role of climate change and neotectonism in the evolution of soils and landforms. I did my Ph. D. with Prof. B. Parkash at Department of Earth Sciences , University of Roorkee (IITR) in 1993. It was about the Holocene climatic changes and tectonic activity engraved in the polygenetic soils and landforms of the  Gangetic Plains.
